Events like this are why it’s little wonder I have nearly 17000 pics up on flickr, just nearly 500 photos of ELA bella the pinks 1st Birthday Party, and unbelievable as it is, I hardly touched a camera all day.

We had a thoroughly fantastic day with everyone and all the atmosphere, thanks to everyone who has commented about how much they enjoyed it, and mostly thanks to Gab for making such an amazing day for everyone. There is no way the pink could possibly have appreciated it, but hopefully this collection cataloguing almost every aspect often from 5 different view points will give her some idea of the trouble her mum went to.

Film Australia have posted a bunch of their archive up on goolge video. I stumbled on this one - a view of Sydney in the year I was born. Check the manual lane changers from the “DMR”, the 20c toll on the bridge. Hydroplanes/ferries what were they called again? The red rattlers, the yester-year Chatswood Station (Homebush still looked like this in the mid 90’s). The big green double decker bussess. And the super futuristic amphibious car - mind you I’d want someone to film me if I could really get to work that way. Check it out, I’m on the hunt for more.

A great idea for a mucky Sunday afternoon, bowled an absolute shocker even with the bumpers. I was having a bit too much fun with the fiddymonstergrub and him finally agreeing to use the ramp! Wahoo!

I ended up going a bit snap happy on the princess on Saturday, but I got some great pics in the process. By far the best bit was the all-in-grand-kid-happy-birthday at the end, including the fight for blow out honours :)

The whole duck thing stepped up a notch with the coolest toy of the day being the little quackquack duck, bested only by Claire’s phone - Mum’s obviously done her bit to bring ELA up to speed on the whole phone thing, she was saying “Ello?” far too quickly for my liking :)

Lord Jesus Christ, Father, as we speak your Word over our lives, we know that the Word of God is the higher truth. The Word of God overrides our natural circumstances, whatever they may be.
As we continue to proclaim and stand on your Word, Lord Jesus Christ, your Word will come to pass, just as you promised in the Bible.
